Pretty decent place to get quality italian food in Chinatown.
I have been here about 4 times with various people and we have always enjoyed their food. I love that they let you choose/replace the type of noodles that they use to make your pasta.
I usually opt for the spaghetti bolognese and then ask them to make it spicy. Super rich and flavorful sauce/meat. It also comes with bread! The ceaser salad is a great pick as well. They give a generous portion for both the regular (easily serves 2) and side salad option. Great addition to your meal!
The workers are super friendly and are always talking, laughing and joking with each other. It's clear that they are doing what they love and having fun at the same time!
The only thing that I would like to point out is that the food can come out different based on who makes your food. I think they sacrifice a little bit of consistency for individuality (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Just as an example, one time my girlfriend and I both got spaghetti bolognese but mine came with about x2 the meat that she had. Still tasted great but obviously a little dissapointing for her.
Overall a solid italian restauraunt with great staff! -

I have been here several times over the years and the food is always fresh and cooked to order right in front of you. I also like that they are always changing their menu depending on what is in season. They also have the option to add meat to the vegetarian dishes for an extra charge.
This time I ordered the Reef and Beef which was beef filet, shrimp, white onions, fresh basil, carrots, zucchini, cherry tomatoes and spring onions deglazed with brandy in lobster sauce with tagliatelle noodles. It was amazing.
It is busy but the food is definitely worth the wait. I have yet to try their desserts but I will definitely be back. What I like is that their food is consistently good and that is the main reason I keep coming back. -

This place is great: every single employee here is cheerful (I know how hard that can be!) and the food is always delicious and hot and made to order. Highly recommend the Filetto di Manzo! I went last Friday and the lines were long because of several large groups -- particularly the pasta lines since they're so popular and take a while to cook, but the employees were doing the best they could and somehow still smiling...I don't know how I could manage after being so short staffed.
There was ONE guy bartending, I think his name was Tavon or Devon or something and he was clearly slammed but very nice. Same with Laure who checked us out. Note to the manager, Simon -- please schedule more staff and reward your current employees! They made our experience great and we will certainly be back. -

This was my first visit to the Chinatown location. I'd been to the Reston location and was so impressed that I made a plan to visit a location of the chain the next time I was near one. I took my mom for dinner and we wound up returning the next night because the food was so good!
The first night I ordered the lasagna and my mom got spaghetti. We both also had sangrias from the bar. The second night, I ordered the spaghetti and my mom got chicken alfredo. Yet again, I was impressed by Vapiano. From the food to the concept, this restaurant is dope!
Absolutely love Vapiano and wish there was one in Atlanta! -

Tasty food ranging from $11 - 17 depending on what you get. When you come in they hand you a card and they charge the card when you go to place your order. You will then pay everything at the end of your meal. It's a cafeteria style restaurant and they have a set menu and recommendations but you can also request substitutions/omissions if you have allergies. I don't like how they use so much oil to cook your meal but it's something you could probably just ask them to reduce at the beginning. Decent sized space that's able to accommodate large groups. Would come again!
